We have wonderful accommodation available for Hogmanay - 30th December-6th January.
On the west coast, just south of Oban, overlooking Loch Melfort, we are looking to let our 'Walled Garden Mews' for this coming New Year's week.
Sleeping up to six people it is part of 'Melfort Village': http://www.melfortvillage.co.uk
Please look at the web site just mentioned for comprehensive information about Melfort.
Our price for the week, for 'Walled Garden Mews 9', is £795 if booked and fully paid before 31st May, 2012.
If you have looked at the web site of 'Melfort Village' you will see that the price is £1,100.
How can we let it with such a large discount?
For this week (30th Dec. - 6th Jan.) 'Walled Garde Mews 9' is ours to use or to let. This year we are unable to use it so we have decided to let it. We have asked 'Melfort Village' to let it for us and therefore they decide on the price they want to ask. Should they let it, then they keep a percentage of the £1,100 and we retain the rest. Should we let it ourselves then we have no fee to pay and are able, therefore, to let it for our price of £795.
You will be sure of a traditional Scottish Hogmanany in this part of Scotland - nothing like the tens of thousands of people you will meet, should you decide to celebrate it in Edinburgh.
This area of Scotland is stunning. An added attraction is that the isles of Mull, Jura and Islay are close by. Please check ferry times for this time of the year if you want to visit any of the above.
This is an interesting site for the Isle of Mull - http://www.explore-isle-of-mull.co.uk
